CUrW is developed through strong partnerships with academic community and the industry.
CUrW systems are entirely developed by young graduates from Sri Lanka's leading engineering universities. The staff also can enroll in a research master degrees in these universities where the work carried out at the center forms part of the thesis.
Most of our weather stations are located in Schools around Colombo catchment and Kelani Basin with a view to engage student communities in using environmental data we collect in education and research.
CUrW offers internship programs to graduate students and encourage taking up applied research projects of mutual benefit and University Research and Education programs.
